Soobhanee was from Faizabad (Uttar Pradesh). She married Muhammad Ally from Bihar. They had a daughter named Rusoolum. Soobhanee was left in grief after the death of Muhammed Ally. she was then enticed by agents to immigrate to Natal.
Soobhanee along with her 1 year old daughter Rusoolum arrived in Natal on Enmore I which sailed from Calcutta on 1 August 1874 and arrived at Port Natal on 1 September 1874. She Indentured at Shires, J.E. Sugar.
Mowla Khan was from Nanpara (Uttar Pradesh). He arrived in Natal on the Plassey which sailed from Calcutta and arrived at Port Natal on 13 February 1875.He Indentured at Shires, J.E. Sugar.
Soobhanee met Mowla Khan on the plantation. They married and had 3 sons Ethwaroo ,Noor and Nally Mahomed (Wally Mahomed).
Children
- Ethwaroo married Raseedhun daughter of Mymood Khan and Moolemia.
- Nally Mahomed married Sakina daughter of Mymood Khan and Moolemia.
- Rusoolum married Jahangeer and later married Mymood Khan.
